    1. Thank you! And no, I don’t mind. The publisher requested a second pen name to help distinguish the two types of books for readers. “Robin York” was what we came up with. :-)

  1. Very nice to meet you Robin York! Looking forward to new stories! By the way, Robin York sounds like a movie star name!! LOL

  2. Congratulations! I have been shying away from New Adult, but I can see that I will have to cave on that whole thing now. Happy writing!

  3. It seems hard enough to come up with one good pen name. The though of needing more than one seems like unnecessary anxiety.

But, congrats on the new adult book. The one I’ve been playing with is NA, though I didn’t intend it to be; it’s just sort of coming out that way.

    1. I think it would be hard if I had to keep the two identities separate, but I don’t, so it doesn’t seem *too* difficult. Of course, I can never even remember to send email from my author account vs. my real-life account, so it’s possible I will suck at this juggling act… we’ll see!

Looking forward to hearing more about this accidental NA of yours.

  4. I’m with Kim and Moran — I typically avoid New Adult reads, but I will happily make an exception for you, dear Duchess of York. ;)

    1. Thanks to you, Kim, and Moran! I hear where you’re coming from, and I’m flattered you’ll give these new books a shot on trust of me alone. :-)

  5. Congratulations on your “MPA” (multiple platform author) status, Ruthie! :)

Very excited to read your new work!

  6. This is fabulous news Ruthie! Anything that means we get to read more of your books can only be a good thing but the fact I’m a little addicted to NA books at the moment makes it even better LOL. I can’t wait to find out more about Deeper!

  7. Congratulations on your new venture. Is the only real difference between the two genres the age of the characters or are there other differences?

  8. Ruthie!!! I’m so freaking excited for this!! I can’t wait! You’re going to get me reading this New Adult thing, aren’t you! Congrats! :)
